How It Works: 5 Steps to Certification Success!

1. Sign Agreement, Submit Product
   Sign the agreemnt, pay fee, and submit product for review.
2. MADE Banned List Screening
   Products must first meet the MADE Banned List requirement which prohibits 15,000+ ingredients of harm. This step determines if a product is a good fit before proceeding to full certification. Any product that doesn't qualify receives improvement recommendations.
3. Full Ingredient and Manufacturing Transparency
   Submit detailed ingredient information, sourcing documentation and manufacturing disclosures for every input in the formulation.
4. Ecosystem Approach Screening
   The Scientific Review team screens each substance to analyze potential sources of pollution and harmful impacts to humans, animals, aquatic life as well as soil, sediment, air and water to ensure ecosystem protections.
5. Certification and CPF Listing
   Once certified, receive the full Screening report, pay the MADE SAFE license fee, receive the assets and marketing toolkit. We provide an API connection to Amazon with ASIN/GTIN product sku information for instant, easily managed and accurate listings in CPF.
